According to Telegdi, the model of Talm. Aram. dšnʾ would be Pahl. dahišn; but dahišn, which is the Pazand reading of MP [dʾšn'], is another word meaning "creation": the confusion arose because the two MP words coincide graphically. Furthermore, the word, being attested already in Off. Aram., must have been borrowed from OP, and not from MP.
