MP *tarr-angubēn fresh honey (Gignoux 1998, 729); NP tar-angubīn, talangubīn manna (Steingass 292, 297, 322). The first element of the compound is MP tarr [tl] moist, fresh (CPD 82; Nyberg 192), NP tar moist, wet, juicy, fresh, green (Steingass 291); the second term is MP angubēn honey (which also appears as a loanword in Syr.: cf. s.v. ʾnbgyn).
