(Durkin-Meisterernst 2004, 35; Henning 1937a, 79); NP āhan id. (Steingass 126); the second term is a deverbal noun from the the verbal root of MP rubūdan, rubāy- [lpwtn'] snatch, rob (CPD 73; Henning 1937a, 87); ManMP rbwdn, rwb- (Durkin-Meisterernst 2004, 297); NP rubūdan to rob, carry off (Steingass 568).
